November kicks off our Season of Giving with a coast-to-coast F1S holiday food drive. We’re working with 2 Hands 2 Cans, an organization which provides job opportunities in the hospitality industry and grows community gardens in public housing developments. From November 3 – December 15, stop by our New York, Los Angeles, or Miami offices with canned or non-perishable goods to support local food banks.
This project is part of our giving back initiative, F1S Helps. Throughout the year, F1S Helps works with local communities around the world to make a meaningful difference. Check out the other highlights from our first year in action:
Bogota, Colombia: La Cascada Escuela Clothing and School Supply Drive
Located two hours away from our Bogota, Colombia office, this rural school can use a lot of help. The children endure many hardships. In January, our office collected and delivered 500 lbs. of essential school supplies and children’s clothing to make a little difference in their young lives.
New York City: Adopt a Block Program, New York Dream Center
New Yorkers are proud of their city! We volunteered with the New York Dream Center in July to beautify a local block, help plant a community garden, and visit with some elderly neighbors. All of it put a big smile on our faces.
Rural India: Water Filtration, Third Millennium Awakening
Millions of people around the world don’t have access to clean drinking water. Third Millennium Awakening builds and supplies local families in India with at-home filtration systems. We helped install clean water systems for five families in rural India.
