There are lots of great things happening in March—from Women’s History Month to St. Patrick’s Day. To celebrate, we’re showing you some of our favorite places around the world for women to travel on their own, including great cities and relaxation destinations as well as how to have an amazing weekend in Dublin, Ireland. And with spring still a few weeks away, we’re still dreaming of warm-weather trips. If you’re looking for inspiration, our F1S insider Marisa tells us why Aruba is a great place for young families.

As autumn slowly rolls in, many destinations are heading into their peak season. Here are some of our favorite ways to enjoy the next few months.
National Parks in Technicolor
Hit the road to witness many of America’s national parks at the height of their beauty. Grand Teton National Park, Acadia National Park, and Great Smokey Mountains National Park are all ablaze in jaw-dropping colors and views. While fall tones will be scarce at Olympic National Park in Washington, autumn’s big draw is salmon spawning season, where wild Coho salmon leap up river to their breeding grounds.
Farm to Table Experiences
Autumn’s bounty is showcased by changing menus across the country. At our WONDERWALL partner, The Ranch at Rock Creek in Montana, celebrate Autumn Harvest Weekend October 15-18. Chef Josh Drage has partnered with local farms and ranches to present a three day-long Western dining experience bursting with exceptional produce and meats. To top it off, Grammy-winner LeAnne Rimes will be the featured special guest and performer.
This month is full of options for jazz lovers: Monterrey Jazz Festival, September 18-20; Savannah Jazz Festival, September 20-27; and BeanTown Jazz Festival, September 26. If you’re still in summer mode, head to the Aruba Jazz Festival September 25-26.
Fall Foliage Photography Workshops
Autumn is the ideal time to capture nature’s rich tapestry of colors. The stunning Salamander Resort & Spa, our WONDERWALL partner in the heart of Virginia’s wine and horse country, is offering a fall foliage photography workshop November 6-8. Discover scenic trails and fields as you practice your skills during the area’s most beautiful time of year.
Cycling the World
Savor the slower pace of life with sophisticated trips on two wheels. From Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast to the vineyards of Chile, Butterfield & Robinson, an F1S preferred partner, has been curating refined biking excursions since 1966. This time of year picturesque villages throughout Europe are especially appealing with fewer crowds.
Wine Tastings and Hot Air Ballooning
Take wine tasting to soaring heights by pairing with hot air ballooning. Napa Valley, Tuscany, Burgundy and other popular wine destinations are bathed in color, making the views really worth toasting.
